Hemp grower crowns lawsuit, tokenizes shares in settlement By Cointelegraph

Hemp grower Apothio raised $ 330,000 for a lawsuit against Kern County in California through what is known as an offer for an initial lawsuit on the Republic investment platform.

Investments are accepted in USD, but proof of investment is issued as digital tokens on (AVAX) blockchain network. This is the first initial litigation (ILO) bid on Republic a platform launched in 2016 and designed for equity crowdfunding.
