BSNL entices new subscribers with 5 GB of free data: How to transfer number, benefits, other details

The move will essentially encourage users who want to transfer their SIM card from their existing telecommunications service provider to join the BSNL network.

In a move aimed at increasing its subscriber base, state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering free 5GB of high-speed internet to new subscribers switching from an existing service provider. The move will essentially encourage users who want to transfer their SIM card from their existing telecommunications service provider to join the BSNL network. Free high-speed internet data will be available for a period of 30 days, and users must use it within the valid time limit.

However, there is another catch because users who want to gain access to free data will not only have to switch to the BSNL network, but also visit social networks explaining the reasons for switching to BSNL. A link to their respective post on social media will also be sent as “proof” to the company only after which they will be allowed to use 5 GB of internet data.

According to its offer published on Twitter, the company has opened an offer of free data until January 15, and only those users who switch to its part before January 15 will be allowed to use the free data. In addition, users must migrate to the BSNL network using only the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) feature. As for posting on social media to be shared on social media, users can write why they preferred BSNL over their previous telecom player, with the addition of #SwitchToBSNL on Twitter and Facebook. Subscribers must also follow the BSNL tag on their feed along with the BSNL tag in their social media posts.

After the user shares the post on social networks, he can click on the screenshot of the post and send it to the company on 9457086024. The screenshot can be sent via regular message or WhatsApp. Users should keep in mind that they should only send a message from the BSNL number where they are looking for additional internet convenience.
